Dr. Jart+ is a Korean skincare brand, owned by The Estée Lauder Companies since 2019, known for its Cicapair and Ceramidin ranges. As at 5 October 2026 it is sold in Australia at MECCA and through K-beauty specialists such as Nudie Glow and Kanvas Beauty.
The brand says Dr. Jart+ was founded in Seoul in 2005 by architect Chin Wook (Leeo) Lee, who partnered with a Korean dermatologist to create dermatology inspired skincare that people could buy without a clinic visit. The brand says the name stands for 'Doctor joins art', and its first product was a BB cream inspired by balms Korean dermatologists used after procedures.
Dr. Jart+ entered the US through Sephora in 2011. The Estée Lauder Companies made a minority investment in its parent company, Have & Be Co. Ltd., in 2015 and completed the purchase of the remaining shares in December 2019, its first acquisition of an Asia based brand, with Lee staying on as CEO.
