Laneige is a South Korean skincare and makeup brand owned by Amorepacific, built around hydration and best known for its Lip Sleeping Mask and Water Sleeping Mask. In Australia it is sold through Sephora and Adore Beauty, plus several specialist K-beauty shops.
Laneige is a South Korean brand owned by Amorepacific. It debuted in September 1994 with a skincare collection called UV Green, and its name comes from the French "la neige", meaning snow. Over time it became one of Amorepacific's flagship international brands, with hydration, which the brand calls "Water Science", as its central idea.
Amorepacific says Laneige entered Australia through Sephora in March 2018, and that its Lip Sleeping Mask went on to lead sales in Sephora Australia's mask category. The brand's range now spans moisturisers, toners, overnight masks, lip care and a small number of sunscreens and cushion bases.
