Missha

Missha is a Korean beauty brand owned by Able C&C, known for budget friendly essences, BB creams and sunscreens. As at 5 October 2026 we found it at Australian K-beauty specialists such as Nudie Glow and Kanvas Beauty, but not at the major Australian beauty chains.

Missha was established in 2000 as an online brand and opened its first physical store in 2002 near Ewha Womans University in Seoul. It is owned by Able C&C, which also owns the A'pieu brand, and it grew as one of Korea's original low price cosmetics chains, using frequent discount events and seasonal promotions.

The brand has long been associated with affordable alternatives to luxury formulas, and its Time Revolution First Treatment Essence and BB creams were among its best sellers in the early 2010s. In recent years Able C&C, majority owned by IMM Private Equity, has pushed further into Europe and the Americas, with the Artemisia calming range among its stronger performers.
